Book Reading Session with Albert Otto at ANA/Yusuf Ali Literary Awareness Campaign
Our author, Albert Otto, was the guest author at the 2019 ANA/Yusuf Ali Literary Awareness Campaign organised by the Association of Nigerian Authors, Rivers State Chapter. The event, which took place at the Port Harcourt Book Centre on Thursday August 8, 2019, was well attended by writers, book lovers, students and dignitaries.
The Port Harcourt-based author read to secondary school children from his new book, “The Twins and the Garden”, as part of activities marking the year’s ANA/Yusuf Ali Literary Awareness Campaign which runs nationwide.
The occasion was chaired by Sir Bon Woke, Director of News, RSTV, Port Harcourt. Elder Dike Onyije, Publisher, Port Harcourt Times, was the special guest; while Dr Psalms Chinaka was the resource person. One of the highpoints of the event was the presentation of prizes to the winners of the secondary school reading competition. It was a very educative session as the dignitaries shared their reading experiences, and here are a few pictures from the event.
Book Reading and Signing Session with Albert Otto at Bookville World
Albert Otto, author of The Twins and the Garden, was hosted at Bookville World in Port Harcourt for a book reading and signing session on Children’s Day, May 27, 2019. A few children attended due to the arrangement of the reading at short notice after the author confirmed his availability to read to the children. It was a very educative and interactive session.
